He is a dynamic industrialist from Northeast India. He has been the main driving force behind the technical excellence and commercial success of the Group. He is the Managing Director of the flagship company of the group, Meghalaya Cement Limited (Topcem Cement), and serving as Vice Chairman to Barak Valley Cements Limited, India a listed entity with National Stock exchanges and is also promoter-director to these companies.
Mr. Agarwal is having rich experience in establishing and running industries efficiently in sectors as diverse as Cement, Steel, Power, FMCG, Exports and turnkey projects. He is now actively involved in bringing up another such venture in Kenya as Top Steel Kenya Limited. |
He also has vast experience in corporate planning, growth strategies and business development. He has managed critical business responsibilities in various areas including strategic planning for cement plants, steel plants and project executions. Full of confidence, dynamism and positivism, Mr. Agarwal enjoys reputation and partnership relations with many multinational companies and corporate world. |

He started his business career in 1978 with a small-scale industry and within a decade established himself as a successful entrepreneur in both industry and commerce. Having gained adequate experience, he promoted first group ventures with forest product based industries in the north eastern states of India.
Mr Garodia led the group to success achieving milestones, one after the other and forayed into diversified ventures after the success of cement plant in Meghalaya viz Mining, Acquisitions of Tea Gardens, rolling of Steel ventures in Nigeria and Real Estates. He also serves Meghalaya Cements Limited, India as Vice Chairman and Chairman in Barak Valley Cements Limited, which are having substantial market share in Cement market of North East India. |
A known philanthropist, Mr. Garodia was awarded the “National Citizenship Award” in 1995 by the Honorable Prime Minister of India for his exemplary service to North east region and continues his endeavours for uplifting the society. |

Aged 56 years, is an EDUCATIONALIST, PHILANTHROPIST and an INDUSTRIALIST of repute. Being born and brought up in Assam, India, Mr Vimal Agarwalla is a medical graduate from the Assam Medical College.
The family of AGARWALA’S represented by Bhagwati Steel was well known in the states of North East, India. Besides being traders in steel products they were the sole selling agent of Jindal Steel products and are associated with Jindal Group for more than four decades, apart from having owned Tea gardens and also diversified later into Hardwares. |
He has been associated as Director with Rasiwasia Impex Pvt. Ltd. Calcutta and also D S Metals Pvt. Ltd. Chennai. With a vast experience of over three decades in steel, Lagos Topsteel project was a dream come true, and now also involved with another such venture in Kenya.
As an educationalist, he has been associated as a Managing Committee member of Lakshmipat Singhania school academy, Kolkata. As a gentleman personified with a everlasting smile, Dr. Vimal is a social creature and is always ready with a helping hand to mankind. |

Mr. Nishant Garodia, aged about 31 years, is a business management graduate. He has done his M.Sc. in Management from Edinburgh University, U.K and also completed his Masters in International Business Administration (IMBA) from I. E .Business School, Madrid, Spain.
At present he is a Director in Meghalaya Cements Limited, Top Metals Limited, Stark Steel Private Limited, Pritthvi Global Ventures Private Limited, Aditya Mining & Steel Private Limited and R G Garodia Properties Pvt Ltd etc. He has informed knowledge in areas of corporate planning, growth strategies and business development. He has managed critical business responsibilities in various areas including strategic planning and execution for Steel and Ferro Alloys manufacturing plants. |
He currently is the Managing Director for Top Steel Nigeria Limited and is a driving force behind critical changes in the company to facilitate product group expansion and cost reduction.
